Well, it’s been a while since I last posted; reasons for this being general lack of effort and leaving university. I am now trying to make it as a self employed crafts geek. My website where you can buy my stuff, as soon as I put stuff onto it, is: http://www.kimiaquilina.etsy.com I would suggest that you check it out in a month or so.
So what am I going to do? Right now I’m obsessed with the idea of candles in vintage teacups, so I’ve been charity shopping. Pretty fun seeing the disgruntled looks given by the elderly clientele as soon as someone under the age of fifty enters the store. The people who run charity shops, by the way, are ever so nice, especially when you ask them for help. The lovely lady in Sue Ryder has promised to put any odd tea cups by for me. Excellent.
I’m also making soaps, or will do as soon as I can afford the oils. Did you know that decent quality olive oil can cost over a tenner for one litre? I didn’t. Pricey. And the soap needs to mature for 6 weeks before you can cut it (unless you want your skin taken off), so this little enterprise could take some time. But it’ll be worth it.
Take care all.
